Tipco manufactures and stocks a wide range of both metric and inch counterbore (stepped relief) die buttons. Tipco also manufactures custom designed counterbore die buttons. Tipco’s counterbore die buttons include a land, which helps guide and stabilize the punch. The key difference between Tipco’s counterbore relief die buttons (versus tapered relief die buttons) is that counterbore die buttons have a cylindrical relief hole (larger than the land) that helps allow for the orderly clearing (dropping) of slugs.
