Tipco manufactures and stocks a wide range of both metric and inch flexible (tapered relief) die buttons. Tipco also manufactures custom designed flexible die buttons. Tipco’s flexible die buttons include a land, which helps guide and stabilize the punch. The key difference between Tipco’s tapered relief die buttons (versus counterbore die buttons) is that flexible die buttons have an angled relief that helps allow for the smooth and efficient clearing (dropping) of slugs.
