Tipco manufactures a wide range of standard and custom Ultimate head type punches. Tipco’s Ultimate head type punches have a number of unique characteristics focused at improving the overall performance and longevity of the tools. For example, Tipco’s Ultimate punches are made from powder metallurgy (PM) M4 steel. In addition, Tipco’s Ultimate punches have other characeristics focused on improving performance. For example, Tipco’s Ultimate punches have a thicker, larger, and 10-degree angled diameter head. The Ultimate punches head design is designed to reduce punch load and, ultimately, punch failure rates – especially when punching heavy gauge and high tensile material. Tipco’s Ultimate punches are the same design as Dayton TuffPunch® punches.
